I spotted this last night when I was checking the classifieds, and spread the word this morning when I went into a different temp agency. They didn't mind. They may be competitors, but their primary interest is getting people hired, and a little extra information goes a long way.
And I learned when I was working in retail, if you know your competitor has a sale going on for a similar product, you let the customer know, and they WILL come back to you next week and buy something nicer at the higher price. Positive customer service and social skills make a big difference, folks. Let's help our buddies learn what they need to get started in today's rough world.
